If I was prime minister of NZ

On Monday John key resigned as new zealand Prime Minister because John key  need some time with his family, and He said “ I feels like it’s the right time for me”.

He spent 8 years as leader of the National party, The responsibilities of the prime minister are to solve problems like changing the new zealand flag or dealing with the earthquakes in  christchurch and Kaikoura.

If I was Prime minister of NZ I would help the homeless to get off the streets and put them into homes, and I would give food supplies to the ones in need.

  1. Kia ora Christian,

It is never too early to get into politics! Good to see you thinking about what the PM does and what he should be doing - especially things like helping the poor get into homes etc, especially in Auckland.

I hope you continue with that interest, and don't give up on making positive changes for all New Zealanders, not just those in a community (although starting there is good).

You don't know me yet, but my name is Mark and I'm a teacher working for the summer learning journey you signed up for. I thought I better come online and have a look who has started and then found your experiment! It is so cool!

I know you haven't started your journey yet, but if you get the chance I think you'd enjoy joining in with your classmates. It seems like they're all having fun learning about the world and traveling.

The activities are interesting, and there are even chances to draw, make poems, and argue about bull fighting! There's heaps of stuff to do and the best part is that you decide which stuff you want to do.

Anyway, I hope to see you online soon. I just thought I would remind you that you can still join in whenever you like.

    Kia kaha, and take care,

    Mark
