A.I.M for success!

A + I = M, what does that mean? well I'll tell you what, one of the teachers from Auckland grammar school, Mr Patterson  came to talk about launching the future. So A.I.M mean of course aim, but I'm going to talk about the formula of success!  


A is for Aspiration, Aspiration is what make you wake up from bed. It's like waking up and visioning the day, what your going to do and what your going to became.

I is for Inspiration, take today for example, Mr Patterson showed us a video about the boy name Willie giving a homeless man lunch and money for two week. I was Inspired for Willie giving lunch and money is a blessing.

And last but not lease M is for Motivation. What Motivation? It's an idea or a goal for each and every person. Motivation is within but in other word, Intrinsic. Intrinsic is another word for within and the opposite is extrinsic.

Musical Madness, term 4 2017

Hey hey hey! It’s that time again and were back in 2017 term 4! Yes I know it’s last but we just have to suck it in and go right though. Today we had a Immersion assembly and the tiled is “Musical madness”.

I wonder how we're going to learn through music? well the answer was revealed today in our Assembly. Every teacher was dress up, The principal (Mr Burt) was dress and a funky looking as usual and funny wig and dress up filled the side of the hall. Every team had a focus and turn it into Entertainment.

Our focus was the almost the same as the others "How do composers use music to evoke an emotional response in an audience". All the other teams just said it easier for the little ones. The most entertaining one was our one of course, but I like the others one as well. Team 5 ( AKA: us) had a act, and there was a family and three teacher were the children and there was a mum and a dad.


The act was so funny, they were watching the lion king and there were watching the start how simba was rises. Soon after they watched the first part the music stared to change, to all kind. Scary, funny, even to the "let it go" song. I can tell this, Term 4 2017 will be the last, but the best!

So Stay tune for update cause we'er gonna save the best for last!

MOTHER DAY!

As you noticed mother's day is coming on Sunday and I want to make something special that will make her happy. In the morning I am going to make a special breakfast in bed for my mum. Then we are going shopping for her. I would buy my mum a diamond necklace. I love you mum.

Mr Wiseman’s had a baby and now became a father.This baby of Mr Wiseman was born last week, term 2 in NZ(in hospital). The baby of Mr Wiseman is still very young and her name is Ailah(name is hared to spell) . Pt England school have heard the Mr Wiseman is still not returning from his victory of the baby.

Anzac day

W.A.L.T: remember the ANZAC.

On Friday we have a anzac assembly at school, it was 100 years ago. first we sat down in the hall. I got a sticker from the  principal of Pt England school.  then we done somethings like: Duffy awards, welcome to Pt England school── for you that don’t know children comes to our school. we have our own field of remember it a small  field. So we went outside and remember the ones.

BUNGY JUMPERS!!

Our task was to write all about our group’s name: Bungy jumpers was our group name's, I learned who created the first Bungy jump. I learn how the make the image to go transparent .

The Duffy show

Follow the structure of a recount to produce a piece of writing. 

On Monday we had a Duffy show in the hall. First we walked in the hall  and sat down with the year five's and Four's. Then we played simon says  with the actors, while the senior classes sat down.

Finally Duffy came out  and we started the show with the Duffy song.  This man was playing Duffy, has name is T J but the other actors did not say their  names.

In the show we saw some funny parts like when  the Fairy sang tinka tinka tinka tinka la la la and stinky nose and stinky toes. Next they were rapping a reading rap.

Finally it ended. We hope the there will be another show next year

This task asked us to writing a recount with many details . I hope you enjoy this recount about the Duffy show.

2015 Assembly

Have you ever seen a home made hovercraft in your assembly? Well Pt England school had our first immersion assembly of term 2, it was MIND BLOWING.  Mr Burt told us our topic and it was Tinkering tool and toys.The teachers was given yummy food for free and a boy was controlling an small air hog helicopter with Mr Burt phone.
